Evolution of the top fashion magazines today

Returning back to old days, guides like BOP and Tiger Beat were some trademark favorites for many. Thinking over images of Jonathan Taylor Thomas and Leonardo Dicaprio passed the old time . Though we still thoroughly enjoy an excellent overview of these former teenager heartthrobs every now and then, I’ve set my attractions on the sort of resources that better link with my current age segment. In my mid-twenties, I’ve changed Tiger Beat with the shiny pages of top fashion magazines, and the huge poster sized images of JTT, with templates of trendsetting items. Vogue

Believe it or not, Vogue fashion magazine created its first appearance all the way long ago in 1892. Cosmopolitan or as it is more commonly known “Cosmo,” was established in 1886 in the United States. It began as a family focused book until around 1889 when it experienced new management changing it into something more similar to an imaginary book offering book reviews and imaginary pieces by famous writers like Edith Wharton, Rudyard Kipling and Ambrose Bierce. Who knew? It wasn’t until 1967 that then hired Editor-in-chief Helen Gurley shifted the magazines focus away from imaginary works and towards new potential viewers of women. Gurley targeted to pay attention to sexual issues, a still relatively taboo area of American lifestyle. Then it was very questionable, today however it is one of the top American fashion magazines leading guides popular wellness, elegance and connections.

Elle

Though not nearly as old as Vogue or Cosmopolitan, Elle was established in Portugal in 1945. It wasn’t until the 1980’s that the book created its transatlantic trip to the United States. It was only a matter of time until Elle became one of the biggest and most extensive book organization’s of all-time with 42 worldwide versions. Their audience is determined to be at 4.8 million and their websites calculating 26 million page views monthly.

InStyle

With a movement of 1.7 million, you would be amazed to know InStyle has only been around since 1991. Though it is relatively young, the book has created some pretty and bold moves in order to stand out amongst its opponents. Instyle has been among the first few to have musical technology artists and stars elegance their cover webpages instead of models. They also offer a superstar home section to their magazines in addition to other areas that include fashion, elegance, wellness, interesting, house and nonprofit organizations.
